TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE

Over the years, the world has experienced several changes, such as the introduction of the internet and its technologies. The daily lives of individuals began to be carried out in cyberspace, generating social and legal problems. Therefore, the present study will discuss whether there is a true improvement and effectiveness of the insertion of technological means. To this end, the issues on the topic were analyzed in the light of a review of legal institutes and studies on the topic, which used a qualitative methodology, focusing on documentary and bibliographical research. Finally, it was observed that the current systems are insufficient to fully resolve existing problems, as well as the many digital advances have not yet managed to achieve a single and integrated system between states, in other words, the current situation puts at risk the principle of legal security, equality and access to justice.
